Monday 6th & Tuesday 7th were spent organising our group, and visiting the site, taking notes,sketches and drawings and making a visual record in the form of a serial view
Wednesday 8th... was used to brain storm and think about how we can interpret the 'section & height' part of the research, ideas we had included models, sketches, adapting a figure and ground map and photo montages. We decided one of the most suitable and effective ways was the adaptation of the figure and ground map where we would shade each building a corresponding colour to inform how many floors the buildings have.
Thursday 9th & Friday 10th .... We met once again and completed the route on each of these days recording the heights of each building on the route and picking sections on the route that we can record.
Over the weekend I made a sketch model of a small section (on the route) and built it up using foam board for building heights. Also sketches/ ink washes were used to think about how we could communicate the 'section' area.
